TRES SEA DAY—THE AMALIA GLACIER!

We woke up in glacier waters this morning!  It wasn’t long before we started to see ice chunks in the water!  BRR!

And then, finally, we spotted the Amalia Glacier, in all her glory!

We’d run outside to take a quick pic or two, then run back to warmth, hot chocolate and coffee!

Our Cruise Director announced that the ship would slowly turn in a circle (like on our Alaskan cruise, Peeps) so that everyone could have a closer look.  The four of us bolted to our rooms to take more photos from our balconies!

We returned to our warm and cozy chaise loungers to watch in total comfort!  (There have been whale and dolphins spotted in these waters—just NOT by any of us!)

Our views were beautiful!

Viking Jupiter features an onboard planetarium called the “Explorers’ Dome.  We had reserved seats to see one of the space-related 3D videos!

My dear brother-in-law solved my disappointment at not spotting any sea-life out our ship’s windows.  “Now you can say you say a blue whale out the window!”

“And now you can say you spotted a sea lion today!”  (Thanks a whole bunch, Mike!)

We enjoyed a somewhat chill day, watching the beautiful landscapes go by!  Before we knew it, it was time for dinner!  Tonight we opted for a wonderful seafood buffet!

It was another great sailing day through the Chilean fjords!  BUENAS NOCHES, everyone!
