PUERTO MADERO, LA BOCA AND A TANGO!

If you were to ask John, he would tell you he “built” this building in Buenos Aires back in the day.  (And that one!  And that one! 🤪)

It was yet another beautiful, sunny morning so we decided to WALK to an area by the river called Puerto Madira.  The tree lined streets of Buenos Aires reminded us of the streets of Santiago—beautiful (and clean).

Puerto Madira is an area of refurbished red brick warehouses that have been turned into restaurants!  Lots and lots of cool looking restaurants along the river.  Because we were there in the morning, almost everything was closed.  But we decided to come back and have our last dinner somewhere in the area so we can be a part of the evening hustle & bustle!  (But not too late!)

This modern bridge was named “The Womens’ Bridge.”  I forget why (you’ll have to ask Mike)! 😄

We Ubered back to La Boca since our short visit there yesterday didn’t quite do it for us!  We LOVED the area, with lots of color, eclectic shops, funky restaurants and cool artwork!

Patte and I both found some local art we couldn’t resist!

We chose a charming upstairs cafe for lunch,
,

walked upstairs to our table and ran into Charlotte the Pomeranian! (I’m now following her on Instagram!)

Lunch (and the brewskies) (and the atmosphere) was delightful!

After lunch we browsed every single shop in the entire area (just as Mike or John)!

After a brief respite back at the condo, we enjoyed Happy Hour,

before heading out for our dinner and a Tango Show at the Mansion Tango!

WOW!  What a show!

BUENAS NOCHES, everyone!
