USHUAIA—THE END OF THE WORLD (IN ARGENTINA)!
We woke up to snow capped Andes mountains as we sailed through the waters of Beagle Channel.
I joined the Critter Watching Group (my people) that met on deck to look for whales, dolphins and birds. A guy with a telescope on the opposite side of the ship yelled over to our leader, “Humpbacks over here!” We dashed to that side, but didn’t see anything but…
…a sailboat…
…and birds!
We learned that Ushuaia only gets an average of THREE sunny days a year! Color us LUCKY as the sun had come out and was shining brightly!
Mike chose the bottom bunk!
In Ushuaia, we were literally at the end of the world! (Picture our ship sailing upside down kind of end of the world!) It was mind-boggling to think about! Here’s proof we were there!
The view stops left us cold, thirsty and hungry so we stopped at a place that could solve all of our problems, Patagonia Brewing Company! They could and they did!
John was very sad that he had ordered a small brewski like Patte and I,
when he saw what Mike ordered, a Big Boy Beer!
After lunch we walked by Evita, who sang “Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina”!
When we finished that bottle of wine, we headed downstairs for John’s all-time favorite, a Churrascaria Dinner!
OOOPS! I forgot to take photos of our dinner! Think meat, all kinds of DELICIOUS MEAT and all the trimmings!!!
Let me be the first to wish my big sister a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 🎂💗🎉🎈🎊🎁😘🎂 Yes, tomorrow will be a VERY BIG DAY!
BUENAS NOCHES, everyone!
