SEPTIMA SEA DAY!

Our day began with a cooking class, watching two of our chefs, one making shrimp risotto and the other making tiramisu!  (My chef, John, said he even learned a few things!)

Then it was off to relax poolside and oceanside!  Sorry, not a good pic—but it was sunny and WONDERFUL and filled to the brim with people!

The highlight of the day was the arrival of a pod of dolphins who performed for us by jumping in pairs!  They were AMAZING to watch!

Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. (You know what they say, “Time flies when you’re having fun!”)  We had reservations at The Chef’s Table, which served a preset five course Mexican meal. I forgot to take a picture of the first course!  Ooops!  It was octopus on a tostado and it was delicious (for those of us that love octopus)!

It was very good, except for this prickly pear (cleanse your palette) kind of dish—none of us like it very much!

But the main course was absolutely delicious!

And the dessert was absolutely wonderful—a chocolate lover’s paradise!

After dinner, I truly hate to admit it, but we all went back to our rooms, jammied up and watched the Viking Vocalists’ show, “Decades,” on our televisions!  In our defense, John was still coughing, I was coughing and Mike joined in the fun as well!  (And we were running out of DayQuil and NyQuil! 😳)

BUENAS NOCHES, everyone!
